Infant Swimming Resource lessons are for children 6 months to 6 years old. Lessons are 5 days a week (Monday-Friday), for a maximum of 10 minutes a day, for an average of 6 weeks. All lessons are personalized to the child's individual needs and are always one-on-one.
Infants and Early Walkers will learn how to hold their breath underwater, roll onto their back to their float, and rest and breathe until help arrives.
Toddlers and Children will learn the full ISR Swim-Float-Swim sequence. They learn to hold their breath, swim under water until they need air, roll on their backs to their float, rest and breathe, and then continue swimming until they reach where they want or need to be.
Once your child has completed their initial set of lessons, you have the option to put them in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly maintenance lessons. Maintenance lessons are still only a maximum of 10 minutes a day. Your instructor will be able to work with your child to ensure that their skills are sharp and improving.
Refresher lessons are encouraged every 3-6 months to ensure that your child is able to maintain their skills with their growing bodies. Refreshers are 5x a week for approximately 2 weeks.
